jMetrik requires the Java Runtime Environment (JRE) version 1.6 or later and 256MB of available memory. It runs on Windows, Mac OSX, and Linux platforms. Use the table below to download the right file for your operating system. If you a upgrading to a new version of jMetrik, the jMetrik change log describes changes made to each version of the software.

Although jMetrik work fine on Mac OSX operating systems, Apple uses its own version of the JRE. If you are a Mac user and the JRE is not already installed on your computer, you must manually install it. Click here for a link to Java on the Apple website.

  • Windows Installer File
    XP users should download this file. On Windows Vista and 7, this file requires administrator priviledges to install and run jMetrik. If you use Vista or 7 and do not have administrator priviledges, download the Windows Zip File below.

  • Windows Zip File
    This file does not require administrator priviledges to install or run. However, you must extract the files to a local folder such as your Documents folder or C:\. You cannot extract the files to "C:\Program files" on Windows Vista or 7 without administrator priviledges.

    To have a jMetrik icon on your desktop, you must manually navigate to the installation folder, right click on the application icon and selct "Send to > Desktop (Create shortcut)". You can drag the icon to your task bar to get a quick start icon on the task bar.
